General product information

The Alpine MusicSafe Classic, Alpine MusicSafe Pro and Alpine MotoSafe include different sets of filters.  You can change the filters for more or less attenuation. Pull out the filter from the earplug. The filter has a tight fit so make sure you pull firmly to get it out. Don’t be afraid to damage the earplug when doing so. After the filter is out, you can insert the other one. Of course, don’t forget to do the same with the second earplug.

You can clean the Alpine earplugs with lukewarm water and soap or with the disinfecting Alpine Clean cleaning spray. You can dry the earplugs with a dishcloth or tissue. Afterwards, the earplugs are immediately ready for use.

 

First of all, there is no left or right version, so you can place each earplug in any one of your ears. You can do this as followed:

  1. Slide the included insertion tube over the stem of the earplug.
  2. Slightly pull up your ear and insert the earplug into the ear.
  3. Make a rotating movement with the insertion tube until the earplugs fits properly and let go of your ear.
  4. Gently remove the tube from the earplug.

You can also place the earplugs into the ears without the insertion tube. In that case, you only have to follow step 2 and then let go of the ear.

The attenuation level differs among our products. Below you can find an overview of the different attenuation levels per product.

The lifespan of Alpine earplugs  depends on the frequency with which you use them. Regular cleaning helps prolong the lifespan. Based on a daily use (with for example the Alpine SleepSoft) we recommend replacing the earplugs after 3 or 4 months. Earplugs that are not used on a daily basis of course have a much longer lifespan. Due to hygienic reason, we do advise users to replace earplugs such as the Alpine PartyPlug after 1 or 2 years at the latest.

Payment & Delivery

Your order will be send from our warehouse in The Netherlands. If you order before 20:00 (CET), your order will be shipped the same day. The delivery time depends on the country it will be shipped to. For countries within the European Union, the delivery time varies between 2 and 5 working days. Deliveries outside of the European Union may take up to around 3 weeks.

The standard shipping costs are $5. For all orders over $25, you don’t have to pay any shipping costs. This is the same for all countries.

Your order will be shipped with regular mailbox post, without a track & trace code.

Only orders that contain the Muffy (Smile/Music/Baby) earmuffs are shipped as a parcel and will receive a separate email with the track & trace code.

You can pay your order using PayPal and/or your credit card. PayPal allows you to quickly, safely and easily make and receive payments without the use of credit card or bank details (in case you have a PayPal account). It is also possible to pay with your credit card (MasterCard or VISA) via PayPal without having to join PayPal. Finally, you can also choose to pay using only your credit card (MasterCard or VISA ).

Purchases

You can buy all Alpine products at our webshop. Orders placed on working days before 20:00 CET will be shipped the same day.

Furthermore, Alpine products are sold in over 40 countries worldwide, online as well as offline. Our partners are primarily audiologists, opticians, drugstores, motorcycle stores, music stores and music locations. Offline partner examples are Target pharmacies, Walmart and at Sam Ash Music. Online, our products are also available at many webshops such as Amazon, Earplugstore, Earjobs and MotoBlouz. As we also work with distributors, we do not have a complete overview of all shops selling our products.

Unfortunately, we do not sell spare earplugs or spare filters for our earplugs.

Returns & Warranty

We assemble our products with the greatest possible care. Do you, nevertheless, believe something might me missing with the delivered product or even broken? In that case, please contact our Customer Service via +31 346 3333 50 or consumer@alpine.eu (s.v.p. including photo) within 7 days after arrival of your order. We strive to send the missing part or a new product if necessary as soon as possible.

Our earplugs are universal products which form is based on the mould of an average ear. Because the earplugs are made from thermoplastic material, they adapt easily to the shape of the ear canal. That’s why they fit almost everyone and effectively reduce noises. Nonetheless, each ear canal is different. The ear canal can be a bit smaller or bigger than average.

Do the earplugs go very deep into the ear canal and is it difficult to take them out?
It seems that you may have a larger ear canal. It that case we would recommend custom made earplugs, which you can purchase at a local hearing care professional.

Are you having difficulties inserting the earplugs and do they tend to fall out?

Then you probably have a relatively smaller ear canal. It that case we would recommend using the Alpine Pluggies Kids or custom made earplugs.

Did you expect more noise attenuation from the earplugs? The cause could be one of the reasons mentioned above. It could also be that your hearing is more sensitive to noise than others. In that case we would recommend you to choose one of our earplugs with a higher attenuation level. You can find an overview of the attenuation level per product below. Please note that not every product is suitable for any usage purpose.

We always compile your order with the greatest possible care. However, should you receive a product that you did not order, we would like to ask you to return it to us with our withdrawal form. We will reimburse you for the return shipping costs onto your bank account. Of course, we will not charge any shipping costs when we send you the right product afterwards.

Most Alpine products have a seal. These products cannot be returned in case the seal is broken, because of hygienic reasons. In case you believe the quality of the product isn’t in order, please contact us. Below you can find the terms and conditions for returning your order.

You received the wrong product

We always compile your order with the greatest possible care. However, should you receive a product that you did not order, we would like to ask you to return it to us with our withdrawal form. We will reimburse you for the return shipping costs on your bank account. Of course, we will not charge any shipping costs when we send you the correct product afterwards.

You ordered the wrong product

Of course it is possible that you order the wrong product from us by accident yourself. In this case, you can return the product to us, using our withdrawal form. We will refund the purchase price and the shipping costs from your order onto your bank account. Shipping costs from your order are only refunded in case you return the complete order. The shipping costs for returning the product to us is at your own expense.

You want to register a return shipment

Right of withdrawal upon delivery of products

Upon the purchase of products, you have the possibility to dissolve the agreement without provision of reasons within fourteen days. This period takes effect on the day after receipt of the product by or on behalf of you. During this period, you are to handle the product and the packaging with care. You will only unpack the product to the extent necessary to be able to assess whether or not you wish to keep the product. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you will return the product with all included accessories and in its original state and packaging to Alpine Nederland B.V. in accordance with the instructions issued by Alpine Nederland B.V.

Costs in case of withdrawal

If you exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days, we will reimburse the amount paid for the product as well as possible shipment costs paid with your order. Shipping costs from your order are only refunded in case you return the complete order.  The costs for returning the product will be at your own expense. We will reimburse the amount paid as soon as possible, however at the latest within 30 days after the return shipment or withdrawal. The amount paid will be refunded using the same paying method used with placing your order.

Exclusion of right to withdraw

If you don’t have a right of withdrawal, Alpine Nederland B.V. can only exclude this if Alpine Nederland B.V. has clearly specified this in the offer, in due time prior to the signing of the agreement.
