How does getting custom festival earplugs fitted at Alpine work?
Getting your Alpine festival earplugs fitted works as follows:
#1. Order
Order your Alpine PartyPlug or MusicSafe custom earplugs via our website.
#2. Schedule
Book an appointment to have your custom festival earplugs fitted.
#3. Fitting
On the day of your appointment, we will first review your order together over a cup of coffee, tea, or a refreshing drink. Then we inspect your ear canals and seal them with a small piece of cotton, after which the fitting paste is applied. After approximately 90 seconds of hardening, the paste is removed. The 3D impressions are then used to make your festival earplugs perfectly custom-fit.
#4. Tracking
Once your custom earplugs are shipped, you will receive an email with a Track & Trace code. Since it is a mailbox package, you don’t need to be home to receive it.
#5. Try Them Out
It’s time to try your custom-made festival earplugs! Inserting them may take a little getting used to, but you’ll get the hang of it quickly.

You can have your festival earplugs fitted at the Op Maat store in Alpine’s headquarters in Utrecht or at a Hans Anders store near you. Fittings are by appointment only!
The lifespan of custom-made festival earplugs varies from person to person. Depending on how quickly the cartilage in your ears changes, the earplugs may gradually fit less snugly and start to let sound “leak” over time. Your custom concert earplugs might need replacing after as little as 2 years, but they could also last up to 10 years. On average, their lifespan is 4 to 5 years.
After having your custom-made concert earplugs fitted, you will receive your package in the mailbox within 2 to 3 weeks.
At Alpine, you receive 12 months of material warranty and 3 months of fit guarantee on all custom-made earplugs.
Absolutely! In principle, we fit custom-made festival earplugs from age 6, although it’s important to note that young children’s ear canals change more quickly than those of adults. For little festival-goers, we also offer special hearing protection for babies and children.
