I really enjoyed the fact that you can choose how much you want to attenuate sound. I've found myself rehearsing with the mid tier plugs, hearing concerts with the low tier plugs and using the high tier plugs for really loud occasions (being right next to the drum set on a gig or rehearsal and using wedges as monitors). The high tier plugs WILL attenuate a ton of mid freqs so having conversations is pretty much imposible
