Types of hearing protection

Hearing protection ranges from foam earplugs to custom otoplastics. Foam earplugs are cheap but can irritate the ear and cause infections. Wax balls and silicon plugs also seal off the ear but are single-use. Universal earplugs with adjustable filters prevent a shut-off feeling. Custom otoplastics fit perfectly for long-term use.
