The main difference lies in the filter: the PartyPlug has a music filter that attenuates harmful noise, while the PartyPlug Pro features a high-fidelity music filter for optimal sound quality and music experience. The PartyPlug attenuates 19 dB (SNR) and the Pro 21 dB – allowing you to choose the attenuation that best fits the type of music or event you attend. Both versions come with three different ear tip sizes (S/M/L) for an optimal fit and a sturdy storage case that can easily be attached to your keychain or kept in your pocket.
Note: Both models have a new, improved filter design with a wider grip, making them easier to remove from your ear or storage case. The updated case has a smart design that keeps the earplugs secure while also allowing easy removal.
Yes, the earplugs are designed for long-term use. Thanks to the soft materials and comfortable fit, you can wear them for hours without discomfort.
Start with size M. Choose a smaller size (S) if the earplug causes pain or feels too tight. Choose a larger size (L) if the earplug doesn't seal properly or feels loose. The earplug fits correctly when it seals well, doesn't cause pain, feels comfortable in your ear, and doesn't stick out too far.
Yes, the earplugs are made from silicone-free material and are safe for prolonged use.
Clean the earplugs regularly with lukewarm water and mild soap or use Alpine Clean spray. Make sure they are completely dry before reusing them.
Hold the earplug by the filter between your thumb and forefinger and gently twist it into your ear canal until it fits securely and comfortably. The earplug is properly placed when it seals your ear canal, does not cause pain, and does not stick out too far.
Tip: You can slightly lift your ear to make insertion easier.
Start with size M – go down to size S if the earplug causes pain or too much pressure, or up to size L if it does not fit snugly or feels loose.
The earplugs are made of soft, silicone-free TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) material. The soft, flexible material ensures a comfortable fit in the ear canal.
They are ideal for festivals, concerts, clubs, and other loud environments where you want to enjoy music without damaging your hearing. Thanks to the premium filter, you can still have conversations with others while harmful noise is reduced.
The SNR value (Single Number Rating) is a European standard that allows you to compare the level of sound attenuation of different hearing protectors. Independent laboratories test earplugs and earmuffs to determine the SNR value of an earplug.
In the United States, an NRR (Noise Reduction Rating) is used instead of an SNR. This standard is slightly stricter than the European standard. The higher these ratings are, the more the hearing protection attenuates sound. Often, both the NRR and SNR ratings are listed on Alpine product packaging.
PartyPlug Pro earplugs reduce sound by 21 dB (SNR), while the standard PartyPlug offers 19 dB of attenuation. To put this into perspective: an average festival produces around 100-110 dB of sound. With PartyPlug Pro earplugs, you reduce this to a safe level of approximately 80-90 dB. This is important because hearing damage can already occur when exposed to sound above 80 dB for extended periods. At 100 dB, hearing damage can occur within just 15 minutes.
