Just get them, they are excellent.

Bought these because at time of purchase they were cheaper than other brand's I was looking at but offered the same performance. I've now had time to test them properly at a concert and a village party and they are excellent, they in my usage reduced the volume to a very acceptable and enjoyable level but without ruining the sound quality as advertised, and in fact made it sound better. I have a few more gigs to attend this year and will not be forgetting to bring these with me.

Wore them to see Iron Maiden in London. 75,000 people and I was worried it would affect the music quality. In fact it improved the quality of the music and removed background noise... could also have conversations easily. Only down side was cut out some of the crowd singing along with much of the rest of the background noise.

I bought these in silver at the Lido festival. Before I bought them, the music was so obnoxiously loud, I thought my ear drums were going to burst!
I didnt feel like the music was too loud at all with them in, it was a very comfortable level. 100% recommend!
