About this product

The Alpine Muffy Baby is specially designed to protect babies' extra-sensitive hearing from harmful noises and loud music at festivals, sporting events, fairgrounds, firework displays and motor races, for example. The earmuffs have a soft and adjustable non-slip headband that does not put pressure on the fontanel. The Muffy Baby is lightweight, prevents noise overstimulation and helps babies to rest undisturbed while travelling.

Great for events

Got these for my five-month-old for an event. He was tired and overstimulated but unable to fall asleep with so much going on around him. He was a little uncomfortable when I first put the Muffy noise blockers on him but he adjusted quickly and went right to sleep! He had a great nap and everyone said he looked adorable with the headset on. I will definitely be recommending these to other new parents.

Fantastic

I highly recommend this to all parents. The quality is excellent, and my four month old has no issue wearing it. We bought this to protect his ears from the noise of the London Underground. We put the Muffy on him while we're on the platform and take it off once we reach our destination. It's surprisingly easy to put on and take off and he doesn't bother at all.
I'd also like to point out that they offer free shipping, and my order arrived the next day for some reason. It was a panic buy for my baby's first trip on the Underground, so I was extremely thankful it arrived on time, even without paying for next day delivery!

FAQ

The new Alpine Muffy Baby offers enhanced hearing protection with 24 dB noise reduction (compared to 23 dB in the classic model). The new design is 8 mm thinner, offers a more stable fit, and is suitable for children up to 4 years of age instead of 3. The earmuffs are already in the correct position and attached to the strap, making it ready to use immediately.

Yes, the Alpine Muffy Baby is CE and ANSI certified, which means it meets the highest safety standards. The product has been extensively tested and approved by both parents and babies.

While hearing protection is safe, it is important to give your baby regular breaks. Use the protection especially during periods of loud noise. Our recommendation: the hearing protection can be worn for a maximum of 3 hours per day and for 90 minutes at a time.

The Muffy Baby should fit snugly without being too tight or too loose.
- Make sure you position the left (L) and right (R) earmuffs correctly by checking the markings on the inside.
- Place the headband on the forehead, just below the fontanelle.
- Make sure the entire ear is covered by the earmuffs.
- The letter 'A' on the side of the earmuff should point upward.

Advice

Hearing protection for babies and toddlers

The ears of babies and toddlers are highly vulnerable, with one in eight children suffering from hearing damage. Alpine Muffy Baby earmuffs reduce noise by 23 decibels and are perfect for noisy events, DIY tasks, or loud siblings, meeting all EU safety standards.
